UK Foreign Minister James Cleverly, who is on a visit to Israel to show solidarity with the country following the deadly attacks by Hamas, was forced to take shelter as a siren warning of rocket attacks went off on Wednesday. The minister said he had got a glimpse of what millions of Israelis face every day. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday called for negotiations between Israeli and Palestinian forces and hoped the war, which has already killed thousands over the last five days, would not expand. Eleven workers with the UN Palestinian refugee agency have been killed in Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip since Saturday, and five members of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent have also been killed in the conflict, the organisations said on Wednesday. "We are very saddened to confirm that 11 UNRWA colleagues have been killed since 7 October in the Gaza Strip," UNWRA said in a statement. It did not specify if they were Palestinian or foreign personnel but said they included five teachers at UNRWA schools, one gynecologist, one engineer, one psychological counselor, and three support staff. "Some were killed in their homes with their families. UNRWA mourns this loss and is grieving with our colleagues and the families," it said. A music festival in Israel was the site of one of the first attacks by Hamas over the weekend, where over 250 people were killed. Videos on social media showed hundreds of people running in all directions, scrambling for their lives as Hamas men fired at them. Now, one person who was at the festival, said she survived the attack by hiding under dead bodies for seven hours, the New York Post reported.  As per the report, Lee Sasi and about 35 others had taken cover in a bomb shelter when they were discovered by Hamas fighters, who began shooting into the bunker at random. However, by the time she was saved, only 10 people came out alive. She said they survived by hiding underneath the bodies of those who were killed.
